By 2015, The Malala Project will help construct over 10,000 schools to replace the thousands of primary and secondary institutions that have been destroyed due to militancy, permanently changing the lives of millions of children through educational opportunities.
Help tomorrow ‘SOAR’
The Malala Project’s responsibility to children is to give every girl and boy the necessary tools to complete an education. Countless numbers of these children cannot afford the most basic supplies like pencils and paper. Our supply programs ensure that children in Pakistan and Afghanistan receive these supplies in school as well as in the home. This will enable the children to express creativity and enhance their education.

While many of our programs are geared toward the school and children attending school, our outreach programs are designed to influence the community. Current literacy rates in Afghanistan and Pakistan are less than 50%. The outreach programs are designed to teach adults how to read and write and also give teachers more effective methods to educate children.
