The Malala Project’s responsibility to children is to give every girl and boy the necessary tools to complete an education. Countless numbers of these children cannot afford the most basic supplies like pencils and paper. Our supply programs ensure that children in Pakistan and Afghanistan receive these supplies in school as well as in the home. This will enable the children to express creativity and enhance their education.

Programs Include:

  • Supplying for Tomorrow
  • Paper & Pencil
While many of our programs are geared toward the school and children attending school, our outreach programs are designed to influence the community. Current literacy rates in Afghanistan and Pakistan are less than 50%. The outreach programs are designed to teach adults how to read and write and also give teachers more effective methods to educate children.

Programs Include:

  • Leaders of our Future
  • Teachers4Teachers
  • Turning the Page
The Malala Project creates a worldwide audience of activists through use videos, news outlets, and social media to permanently end educational barriers throughout the globe.
